What do you think?

I'm somewhat interested in seeing a muv-luv adap, but I feel we'd more likely get the generic harem romance plotline, as opposed to the biomecha alien monsters vs mecha plotline... it would be interesting to see if the characters from rumbling hearts would get carried over to an anime adap.

There is an anime adap - it's been released in the UK by Revelation Films. I cried for hours after watching it.

I did really like YamiBou and Higurashi, although I don't know how much like the original games either of those series are.

On the subject of Higurashi, do you happen to know if it's going to be released over here?

Rumbling Hearts is on my 'to watch' list.

Haven't heard anything, no. If and when any news does emerge though, I'll be a very happy bunny ^_^

What I mean is, the two female leads of rumbling hearts are carried over to the two sci-fi heavy plotlines of muv-luv, as the 'normal love comedy' plotline is set in the same 'world' as the original game rumbling hearts is based on.

Thankfully, however, there's no option to end the Rumbling Hearts anime via sumping both girls, copping off with the mother, and ending up as a sex slave forced to undergo degradation on a daily basis

Ditto. Didn't get to see all of the first series, but what I have seen, I loved.

Oh, and I've been keeping going with Monster (the manga, at least). Excellent, wonderful series.

Saw the first episode of Kaiji the other night. Very intrigued. It might have to have a spot in my anime-watching after all.

I watched Goro Miyazaki's Tales from Earthsea the other day and loved it, although that may be due to me having not read any of the Earthsea books. one thing that did strike me though was that it felt a bit too much like Princess Mononoke in places, but that could just be me.
