Been watching Tide Line Blue.

Sort of Waterworld meets 20 000 leagues under the sea meets modern Navy .... stuff (sorry. i'm not good at describing things  )

Still, lots of stuff going on (lets see. in the first episode alone: Street smart boy, Aircraft Carrier on top of a mountain, double hull submarine attacks aircraft carrier and town below it, oh and one of the main characters gives birth) all in under 25 minutes!

Thats what i love about Anime, it knows how to tell a story 8)

How deliciously old-school! You should watch some new series like Fullmetal Alchemist and One Piece -- you'd be surprised how much amazing stuff is out nowadays! Not many "films" per se, a lot of incredible shows though -- did you managa to catch the Anime Network tonight? (channel 195 on sky)

Unfortunatly i havent got SKY, but i will check out Full Metal and One Piece, Cheers Veela :D

Not the dub of One Piece, seriously, you'll wanna gouge your ears out and stick corks in your eyes - track down the Japanese version

I always try to get the Japanese version, rather read subtitles than hear dodgy dubbing, but thanks :D

Watched the 1st 3 episodes of Tactics last night and enjoyed it, though I was rather narked by the subtitles. Why not just call a tengu a tengu, rather than randomly switching between "long-nosed goblin" and "crow-demon"?

Just worked my way through the She : The Ultimate Weapon box set. Damn! Moving stuff, especially the scene where Shuuji's mate confesses her love (won't say any more, potential spoilerage). Makes me want to read the manga.

Did love that show, although it was quite possibly one of the most emo anime ("anemo?") I've seen in a long time. Some really heartfelt metaphors in there, if a little heavy-handed

What made me chuckle was the stoopid 'next episode' previews.
"I'll be waiting for you, Chise!"
"Chise! I'll be waiting!"
"I'll be waiting for you right here.....Chise!"

Boy does a lot of waiting...

I've just been watching the Excel Saga. It's a brilliant show but it does make may brain hurt.
