Not sure what they've got now, but that's where I got mine. The seller I bought mine from ships them direct from Tokyo.

Sorry ozman, but I find it very difficult to believe that a complete set of FMA, bought for £25 from eBay, is anything other than a bootleg, unless you've bought a raw Japanese version. Especially since we're only halfway through the series in the UK and the US won't have the complete series available until September.

Please don't encourage others to buy bootlegs on here.

What do you mean "raw" version? I already said in my last post that it comes from Tokyo, so obviously it's a Japanese DVD. And I'm a little annoyed that I'm being accused of encouraging others to buy bootlegs. I never told anyone to go and buy anything. I simply answered plasticine punk's question about where I got my set from.

And if this is a bootleg, then not only is it the most professionally made bootleg I've ever seen, but I'll also eat my hat.

A raw version is one in Japanese without subtitles. Your original post was ambiguous as to whether this was the case or not - just because your seller was based in Tokyo was no guarantee, in and of itself, that your set was not a bootleg.

Apologies for the offense, but please do appreciate that we need to keep a close eye on any possible illegal activity on here and actively discourage people from buying bootlegs.

Ok, I get what you mean. This version does have subtitles. I prefer my Anime to have the original Japanese dub with subtitles, and I'm impatient, which is why I tend to import rather that buy US/UK. Believe me, I wouldn't ever buy bootlegs myself, and I wouldn't have shelled out £25 for it if I wasn't sure it was legit.

I understand that, I just would have appreciated not being accused off the bat without being asked first. But fair play, I understand that you need to protect the forum. No harm done. :)

thanks for answering anyway, I too thought it was either a raw version or a bootleg. I remember the Ghibli complete collection doing the rounds on Ebay a few years back had a few people shocked when they discovered it was a bootleg. Such was its quality.

I dont have a ebay account so its a moot point for me.

Actually play has vol 1 of FMA for £14.99 I think I'll try it from there.
