Re: What are you currently watching?
stumbled across Gall Force - eternal story by accident... another classic from the 80's I'd so desperately wanted to see seen.
Beautiful movie, nice ideas (some obvious Alien influence though) great designs and a good plot. |
Re: What are you currently watching?
bought it with my birthday money Halo the legends or essential collection haven't watched it yet. But will sit and watch it tonight if hubby goes to his brothers.

The Slayers though, which I did watch for the first time very recently, on the recommendation of people at cons and Leah's glowing review, I loved the hell out of! |
Re: What are you currently watching?
Sora no Otoshimono Forte ep. 1. In a nutshell:
"Do you like T? How about A? Do you, in point of fact, like T and A? You will like this show!" Ah, to be fair, there's some properly odd visuals in there; the OP has to be seen to be believed. Very strange. |
Re: What are you currently watching?
brilliant brilliant brilliant!!! Halo Legends so great I want to watch it again and again .

Re: What are you currently watching?
Tenchi Muyo! OVA: The uncut version, sweet jesus I forgot how much I loved this series. Not as off the wall as Excel Saga, but pleasingly kooky. Although the whole incest thing... blurgh, I will neevr get used to that. Ryo-ohki... I WANT! *ahem* Any hoo, gotta find the next few Dvd's of it before I delve into "Tenchi Universe!".

Re: What are you currently watching?
Hello,
The last animé I watched was Mamoru Oshii's latest film The Sky Crawlers. Stunning film, very quiet and understated but brilliant nonetheless. Not sure what I am going to watch next, I do want Roujin Z but that's hard to get hold of, as is Yukikaze. I think I might purchase Texhnolyze, looks very interesting... |

Hi Veela,
Is it any good? I have been trying to get hold of it for awhile, but as you point out it dose need a proper release. |
Re: What are you currently watching?
Um, I only saw it once when I originally taped it -- I remember quite liking it at the time, but I reckon I'll appreciate a lot more now that I'm a bit older. There was a big hoo-ha at the time because it was directed by Otomo, but I think there's much less of a fanfare whenever he does anything new nowadays.
