RANT: Extra referral needed for tommorow. Skipping English to finish it off. Other assignments as well for next week, damn you I.T! The Monday Blues... it's always a Monday.

RAVE: New Bleach Beat Collection soon! Yay! (Meaning voice actors from the anime Bleach sing some songs about their characters and the such like and it's made into an album. The other ones were brilliant so this should be a great one as well).

Seamie 20-03-2006 10:22 AM

Rave: TRIPLE CROWN BABY!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Flatley 20-03-2006 11:19 AM

Rant 1: Pigeon crap. Yeah, I got bombed with pigeon guana today - and I'm not talking just a little bit. This git must've spontaneously combusted or vacuated it's bowl exorcist-style. I was smothered. And the stink! head, clothes, brolly, shoes. Bastard!

Rant 2: Helpdesks. "Pease press 1..." "Please press 2..." Eventually, you talk to a human. "Yes, all done, you should be OK now". Hangup. Nope, didn't work. Redial. "Please press 1..." etc. No it didn't work. "Do you have a call reference number as you spoke to a colleague...? Yes, here. "Yes all done, you should be OK now". Hangup. Nope, didn't work, redial. "Pease press 1..." Grr. "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "You are currently in a queue". "Please press 2...". No it didn't work again. "Do you have a call reference number?" What? I gave you that last time! "No, that must've been a colleague..."

And trust me, I've translated that from Malaysian to Gujarati then into Russian via Cantonese and back into Cockney.

Iona 20-03-2006 04:19 PM

Rave: I got no homework today!

Rant/Rave...not sure really: It was quite strange. We were doing an experiment in Biology where we measured the temperature of water in a beaker held in a clamp every few minutes (it was testing heat loss). It was a dull lesson as they wasn’t much to do except check the temperature every 2 minutes are write it down.

My friend was just as bored and said so. I agreed and said “Yeah, I wish the beaker would explode or something then at least it would be a bit more exciting.”

Except I only got as far as “…or something” when the clamp gave way and beaker fell onto are desk and shattered (into a box underneath – we weren’t hurt).

Anyway weird story, huh?

londo mollari 20-03-2006 05:54 PM

maybe you have *special powers*

Following the rules of 'Supernatural':

Do you have electrical failings?
Do things move?
Does your house have strange settling noises?

If so there's a beastie nearby. Or:

Do you have angst?
Have you suffered a trauma?
Are you a teenage female?

If so there's a poltergeist nearby.

 Ok let's see...:

Do you mean do our electrics work? Um...I think they do. The only other weird story like this I can think of is about a month ago two lamps in two days exploded when I turned them on.

Oh wait, do you mean do I make things move? Not to my knowledge!

Yeah, it creeps me out when I am on my own in the house.

I don't know...I have been arguing with my Dad a lot lately, does that count? Oh and I've been pretty stressed over the scarily imminent GCSEs.

A colleague of mine at work was mugged the other day. She's a fifty-year-old woman, and this drug-addled skankazoid threatened her with a knife, pushed her over in the mud and nicked her bag.

Thing is, she's an agoraphobic who has recently returned to work after a long bout of depression. I think everyone in the office would like to get their hands on this guy and introduce a soldering iron to his private parts :x

FREEFALL 20-03-2006 09:30 PM

I'm a Senior Resident in Uni halls, so in exchange for a couple of nights a week being on call in case of emergency I get a really cheap flat.

Rave: Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. What a fantastic book. :D One of the best I've ever read in my whole existence! I'm just about to start the third section, the one entitled "John Uskglass".

FlamesOfFury 22-03-2006 09:30 AM

RANT: Part of my brace broke off so I have an appointment tommorow at 2pm, laptop has spyware on it, Wednesday is such a crap day at College, probably going to get in some trouble for skipping Lit on Monday for doing work that was needed for yesterday

RAVE: Franz Ferdinand, I've been listening to them non-stop this week. Nothing else on my iPod at all.

MarmaladeCat 22-03-2006 09:39 PM

Rant: My eldest has been saving his pennies and hunting for months now for a General Grievous Wheel Bike. So I was really pleased when I found one the other day, and decided to surprise him with it on his brother's birthday, so he had something to play with. Only he was SO excited he rushed off to put it together, which meant fixing the four legs on, but he put them on THE WRONG WAY ROUND. So it doesn't fold up properly and it doesn't roll properly either. And they don't come off again, it seems..

Rave: The birthday party went well.

randomasduck 22-03-2006 09:40 PM

rant: nearly the weekend :(

adam.creighton 22-03-2006 09:40 PM
