Rant : Just as I'm getting over being knocked off my bike, I've been struck down with the latest office bug - a really chesty cough that makes me sounds like a 60 a day smoker.

Raves : My brother is visiting for the weekend and we're planing to watch Life on Mars, Serenity and eat lots of curry.

RAVE: Actually having a decent musical discussion with one of my teachers in I.T, he normally comes in when hasn't got a lesson to teach and helps the class along. I took up half an hour of his time when we just started talking about bands and the such like. Pretty cool, I always thought he was a bit of an idiot... but he's convinced me he isn't.

Well I spent an hour and twenty minutes sitting in Exeter St Davids station this morning, eventually arriving an hour late for work. And after getting up at six too. Bloody trains strike!

the computer just deleted ALL of the films and music that was stored on here! i think i want to shoot something or someone! THAT HAD THE CHRISTMAS INVASION ON HERE!!! I WANT IT BACK NOW :cry: :evil: :cry:

Sorry to hear that RAD. Getting everything wiped off your hard drive is devastating! You just want to sit and swear at the monitor. :evil:

I don't really know! Gah it's so Bloody stupid! Well....Bright side, lets assess the situation. I get to spend the rest of the weekend (that i am not working) on here trying to fix the god awful mistakes that i make!

Another RANT. My face is slightly puffed up from a sore tooth, it hurts when I smile.

RAD! Just because the computer says that the files are deleted doesn't mean they're not still on your hard drive. PCs don't delete anything, they just earmark the hard drive space to be overwritten. See if you can find a file rescue program online (there are a lot of free ones on the internet) or even fork out some dosh for a commercial one.

Don't do anything rash and I'll have a look on the electronic interweb tomorrow and give you some links.

Do you have any of your files left on your computer? I lost everything a few years back, but that was cos my hard drive completely corrupted, it wouldn't even start up as it had lost the Windows files.

Ok so i know they were deleted... A program is telling me that they were. Good thing i know EXACTLY what the files were that went missing. It was all of the folders in my "shared folder" and one on my desktop which (ad this is a reall bummer) had all the pics from a)my london trip in 2004 b)my family c) All my old friends from essex!!!)

Apart from that i can get the other files back....Trying to keep happy about all this
