RANT: Sucession planning sucks - I think my 6yr old could have written a better application.

RAVE: I've got House M D taped from last night to watch when I get home.

Rave: I won the compo from Mr. Cairo!
Rant: PM's are disabled

Rant: I have a massive bandage on my arm. I'm under strict instructions to keep it clean and dry for the next five days. I have yet to figure out how I'm going to take a bath or shower under these circumstances, plus my hair needs to be washed at least every other day and my head is beginning to itch already. It's all sorts of not-fun. If anyone's got any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Rave: The bandage itself looks pretty cool.

Wrap it in a plastic bag or similar and use some elastic bands or similar to prevent water from getting in.

"Deadline day, at the SFX offices is a dangerous time".....just submitting my answer to any possible caption competition that might arise.. :D

My mum had something similar, but on her foot. She ended up using a carrier bag round it, tied with an elastic band as well..seemed to work out ok.

I thought about that. I just wonder if I've got a plastic bag that'll reach up to my bicep...

A big black bin liner should do.

Marry. Not having someone who will wash your hair for you when you can't do it is counter-evolutionary, as research on social intelligence by Whiten (1999) and Byrne (1999) has shown in both higher primates and hunter gatherer populations.

So, yeah. Marry someone.

might take a bit too long if it's already itchy - and besides, you'd want to have clean hair on your wedding day!

Bribe a friend?

RAVE: There was a top that I wanted to buy in work ages ago but it was returned to the warehouse before I could buy it but now we have a sale on and the top came back in and was selling at a reduced price so instead of paying £22 i got it for £7.20! Bargain!

RANT:I've had two extra early morning starts with long days and I'm knackered but my next day off isn't until tues.
