I thought mullets were the 80s?

Thatcher came to power until '79, so she's really an 80s icon. Sadly.

Funnily enough was just thinking this morning, after hearing that the Open University will be removed from our screens: I can still remember the "dot" - when programmes would end at midnight or half-midnight, with a performance of the National Anthem then the Great White Dot, and then you knew it was time to go to bed.

Sadly, mullets have been prevalent through the ages. I have pictures of my brothers in full mullet mode from the mid 70's.
And Thathcher was just the 70's icing on the cake!
