RAVE: My little bro' bought me a copy of 'Slither' on dvd and I finally get to watch it tonight :D

RANT: Just got drenched on the way home from the station. My waterproof boots that have served me well for four years are no longer waterproof.

REALLY REALLY BIG RANT: Bloody train tickets! A short while ago, I changed from a season ticket to work to a Rail Rover - saving me a lot of money every month. I was sorting out tickets at the train station this evening and the guy at the counter told me that they were changing the restrictions on the Rover ticket so they'll only be valid after 9.30am. I'll come to that part of the rant in a minute. The worst part was the guy behind the counter. I wear casual clothes for work so he'd obviously assumed I was a student, and he told me oh-so-gleefully "People have been using them to get to work. Well they won't be doing that any more."

He was so smug and happy about it! Oh yes, thanks, they've changed the rules so it'll cost me a small fortune more a year to get to work, how great is that?! Can't have people getting cheap fares to work now, that wouldn't be right!

Okay, my second part of the rant is about the fact that I either have to go back to spending a fortune, or try to convince my boss that coming in at half eleven in the morning is a good thing. Hmmmm.

RAVE; I made spag bol today and it was gorgeous and the best spag bol ever made.

RAVE: It's a ten year old game that I bought and never got round to playing. Just completed The Dig. It was ace and worth the wait. Excellent music!

RAVE: Been trying to persuade my wife that we need a Wii. No luck. She's watched the ads on telly and now she wants one! HURRAH!

RANT: Work are screwing around with my contract again, it will now be ending at the end of January (that's if I don't just decide that I've had enough and leave first! :evil: )

RAVE: Watched 'Slither' last night, great stuff! :D

RAVE: Another day with no boss sat next to me :D

On the few occasions I travel to London, the whole ticketing system befuddles me... call me illogical, but where else will you find two singles cheaper than a return? Next week I'm going to the Big Smoke and two singles will cost me £23 whereas the cheapest return is £57.

I ain't complaining but it, well, seems strange... even if I pay the extra £10 first class upgrade each way it still comes in cheaper! :shock: :?

Anyway, I'm glad I don't commute by train: They have decided to scrap the 17:18 service between Cardiff and Swansea. A train used by upwards of 300 people daily to get home. Nice of 'em ain't it. :roll:

RANT: back to work tomorrow :(
