But I wanted to see you in the Ka! :(

It's like watching a sardine through a can with a glass lid.

I'm thinking of going to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D but last time I saw any 3d it gave me a migrane so I'm not entirly convinved paying £10 for a film I might have to leave is a good idea. I also have astigmatism so 3d is not always perticularly effective for me. Which brings me to:

Rant: I forgot my glasses so have spent all day with a slightly blurry world. How did I put up with this before I got glasses? Unfortunatly blurryness is not bad enough to mean I have to go home.

Rave: Faijitas for tea.

I don't see how people can forget their glasses, cos if I forget mine, I can't get out of bed as I'll miss the floor, without glasses, the only thing I can see is my nose, anything further away merges into the sort of impressionist painting you have to step right back from.

I've never seen a 3d film before and was really looking forward to Alice, but now I'm worried! :? And there's me thinking fitting the 3d glasses over my regular glasses was going to be my biggest problem.

RAVE: Assignment due in on Wednesday is not as tricky as I thought it would be, might have it finished by tonight!

RANT: Those people in shopping malls who are trying to sell you make up by asking you if you want a free goodie bag. No I don't, I'm not wearing any make up, please therefore assume that I'm not interested. Thank you.

Don't worry too much, if your only issue is that you wear glasses you'll probably be fine. I, like peanut, have astigmatism plus I've had eye surgery's which mean the muscles in my eyes don't quite work together, so for me, 3D films look either red or blue depending on which eye I focus with and then I end up with a migraine!

Oh and if I forgot my glasses, I could probably get out of bed, but then I'd walk into the wall thinking it was the door or something, so I can't forget mine either. I'm more likely to fall asleep with them on, and then wake up and wonder why I can see all of a sudden!

So do I, but only in my left eye if I remember correctly. We should form a club and get tshirts made! :D

How are you with IMAX - as this http://www.odeon.co.uk/fanatic/film_...In_Wonderland/ seems to imply that the IMAX showing isn't 3-D? Might be worth giving them a call?
What we need is a tiny independent cinema, but both Withington & Gatley have been empty for years
I've not seen anything 3-D yet, but my eyes go funny watching stuff filmed in HD & we don't even have an HD telly!

Hmmm... Thanks hon', I'll have to give them a ring and ask. I thought it suggested that as well, but when I looked at the times it only had the 3D times listed, so I wasn't sure. Apparently the closest cinema to show it in 2D is Stockport. :?

Spocksport's not too far, prob nearer than town anyways
