Our chums at Total Film are reporting that Hugh Jackman, who we're looking forward to seeing in 2009's X-Men Origins movie, will be hosting the next Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ceremony. The man who brings Wolverine to life - currently starring on screen in Baz Luhrmann's Australia - is an unusual choice because it’s not often actors are selected to host on their own.
