Will Doomsday Director Take on Predator?

File under rumour for the moment, but BloodyDisgusting.com reckons that a reliable source has revealed that Doomsday/Dog Soldier/The Descent dircetor Neil Marshall is in talks to helm the Robert Rodriguez-produced Predator remake.

Reliable Source = The guy that empties the bins in the building 2 doors down from the house of a guy who once served Robert Rodriguez a bagel in a fast food shop

I knew someone who was living in a box under the stairs in the corner of the basement of the house half a street down from Jerry's fish shop who met Robert Rodriguez once!

Before Doomsday I would have said this was a great choice, after Doomsday I'm not so sure. Like many great low budget directors Marshall seemed to let a budget go to his head.

Imagine a Predator movie with a British cast set in the bleak highlands of Scotland. With comedy cockneys, crazy frenetic camera work and superglued stomach wounds. "You're one ugly geezer, fuckface." Awesome.

Sean Pertwee vs Predator.

Yes please.
