Torchwood Children Of Earth Trailer On Thursday

The official BBC Torchwood website will be premiering a 60-second trailer for the upcoming mini-series, Children Of Earth, this Thursday at 9pm. According to the website, "The trailer will be simultaneously broadcast at New York ComicCon 2009 - where Eve Myles and director Euros Lyn will be taking part in a panel session. Torchwood has proved a big hit with audiences in the US and is BBC America's highest rated series." The site will still only confirm that the broadcast date is "later this year”. While many pundits are predicting a Spring broadcast in the UK, earlier this month BBC America hinted that it will air on the UK BBC and BBC America simultaneously in July. The plan to show it over five nights consecutively, though, still seems in place. |
