Bond Director Seeing Green
Casino Royale director Martin Campbell is in negotiations with Warner Bros to direct a big screen version of the DC supehero, The Green Lantern, reports Variety.
Orlando Gets Cross
Orlando Bloom is to star in a sci-fi film called The Cross, which will be directed by Andrew Niccol director of Gatacca and writer of The Truman Show. According to Variety, the film is set in a near-future border town, where Bloom plays a man seeking to cross a mysterious border, something no one else has achieved. Vincent Cassel plays the guard who will go to any lengths to foil him.
Who's The Mastermind?
Robert Downey Jr, Tina Fey and Ben Stiller are all in negotiations to lead the voice cast for DreamWork's satirical superhero flick Master Mind. Stiller must be a shoe-in: he is also a producer on the movie through his Red Hour Films. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is about a brilliant superhero villain who loses his life's purpose when he accidentally kills his good-guy nemesis. Release is scheduled for November 2010.
