Pick up your SFX special effects collection

There's still time to get the most recent SFX special, dedicated to all things CG - including a glorious supplement about the special effects in season four of Doctor Who.

It's on sale until Wednesday 5 November, when it will be replaced on the shelves by our latest special, an unofficial guide to the movies of George Lucas. People are discussing the latest special on our forum here. Enjoy!

I have the SF specials on order at my local newsagent in Girvan. This issue did not arrive. They phoned the distributors and they were told that it was not available. I went to Ayr where the WH Smiths there said that they had had far fewer copies of that magazine available than usual. I phoned up the back issues department and was told that it was unavailable. I did finally manage to get a copy as a result of phoning up a Forbidden Planet shop in London. I thought that this website should know this.
