Lost Is The States' Biggest TV Download Hit

TV viewing figures may be down across the board in the States, but it looks like we know where the viewers are going: the internet. And no, not to download porn or check their FaceBook accounts – Americans are lapping up download TV in a big way. And one of the biggest winners is Lost. Through plays on ABC.com, Lost accounted for 36.4 million total video streams in May – a tally that includes views of full-length episodes, clips and video podcasts related to the show. ABC points out that Lost has been the winner among video streams for five consecutive months. These figures do not include Hula, which has qemerged in the past year as the dominant online showcase for full-length TV episodes, but which does not break out program-by-program numbers.
