Judge Dredd movie green-lit
|
Forget about whether or not the 1995 attempt is really an undervalued classic: skip forward to 2009 when the new Judge Dredd movie will go into production! 2000 AD comic has revealed that they've partnered with DNA Films, the production company behind cool SF movies like Sunshine and 28 Weeks Later, to take the lawman of the future to the big screen again. CEO Jason Kingsley said, "We can’t give away too many details at this point, but we’re looking forward to working with DNA Films to bring Judge Dredd back to the big screen." This is already being discussed on the SFX forum. |

Christ, it's going to be Jason bloody Statham, isn't it?

I could see Bruce Cambell, but can't help thinking he'd be too jokey. How about Ron Pearlman? A mighty chin and acting chops.
