Electrifying Doctor Who And Star Wars Experience

This is just mad… but in a frankly cool way. Creators of the original Singing Tesla Coils, the crew of ArcAttack uses high tech wizardry to present music in a whole new light.

According to their website: "ArcAttack employs a unique DJ set up of their own creation to produce an electrical arc similar to a continuous lightning bolt which put out a crisply distorted square wave sound reminiscent of the early days of synthesisers. The music consists of original highly dance-able electronic compositions that sometimes incorporates themes or dub of popular songs.

“Joe DiPrima and Oliver Greaves are the masterminds behind the design and construction of the Tesla Coils while the music is developed by John DiPrima and Tony Smith.”

It also involves a guy in a silly suit...

That was awesome although the guy on the crutches was a bit rude walking through the front in the middle of a performance.

Incredible! That version of the Doctor Who theme should be used for the next arrangement. I was very disappointed to discover that they had decided to use an orchestral version, after the cutting-edge work of Delia Derbyshire. Bring back musical innovation!

That's assenine...The guy walking on stilts is a great part of the show. The crowd wouldn't get near as hype as they do if Parsec wasn't there initiating the excitement. But if you've never seen it I guess you can't really appreciate it.

And as for the orchestral use, they do what they think is best to put through the coils. It's a judgement call, and it's still Dr.Who so it's not bad.
