Doctor Who TV BAFTA Award Nominated

Doctor Who is once again up for a BAFTA award for Best Drama Series, facing off against Spooks, Wallander and Shameless (which hasn't really had any real drama since series two). Merlin is the only other SFX show with a nomination (unless you count Bryony Makes A Zombie Movie) and even then it's only for its website (ditto Bryony). In which case Battlestar Galactica fans will be rightly irked that their show doesn’t have a showing in the Best International Show category. Doctor Who the BAFTA for Best Drama Series in 2006 but was not nominated in 2007 or 2008. Full list of nominations here. |
