Being Human Season two

Being Human creator Toby Whithouse reveals some tantalising titbits about season two on his blog.

"So, do you want to know something about series 2? Well, I' not going to tell you too much. Partly because I don't want to ruin it for you, but mainly because we're still storylining so I, er, don't know much. I know about our new villain though. The mysterious Professor Jaggat. But who was that sinister man interviewing Owen? And what is his connection to our heroes? All will be revealed in time, but I promise you Mitchell, Annie and George will be facing a threat even deadlier than Herrick.

"In one episode, Mitchell, George and Annie will be forced apart. Someone will die. Someone will kill.

"Mwa ha ha ha ha ha haaaaa!"

The final episode of the season one bowed out with 822,000 viewers, impressive for BBC3, and well up on the past couple of weeks. That would suggest that many people who've been following the show on repeat viewings simply couldn't wait this time round. Or maybe word of mouth has finally had an effect. Bottom line either way: this show's been a resounding success story.

Congratulations to Toby Whithouse and all the Being Human team! The show has been a real breath of fresh air and about the only thing worth watching on BBC3. It's good to see that a genre programme can be such a success without sacrificing its individuality. Looking forward to Series Two!

Hurrah! Can't wait until Season 2! Absolutely loved the first season even though I really didn't think that I would (I'm ever so slightly terrified of horror movies!). Please let us know how long we'll have to wait

I hope TVNZ buys up this british gem. New Zealand viewers would be stoked to see the first season!

Russel Tolvey is bloody brilliant.

this show is pure and utter genius, i absolutely love it, cant wait for the second season, the nina cliffhanger got me thinking so much, and i still havent figured out anything!loved how annie became like a god at the end of the season, her monlogue to owen at the end of episode 5 was outstanding

you're going to kill off one of the three mains? omg... it feels like the entire series (1 and 2) has been ruined! *cries* if the theme is kept the same, being human could go on for many seasons... but, getting rid of Mitchell, George, or Annie is what you call, not playing the cards wrong, but completely burning the playing pack.

i hope if you take away a life, you somehow bring it right back... any episode w/o every character is a terrible loss.

Please don't let this end in the way Torchwood ended it's second season AND Children of Earth miniseries. And a Werewolf mafia would be ftw.

Can't wait for season two. I think they've only just started showing the first season in Australia (online ABC) and season one ended months and months ago. But I love the show and watch every episode online as soon as it's released, my family loves it too, wish there was a legitimate way to watch it here at the same time that it is released in britain.
