• Jessica Chastain (Mama, Zero Dark Thirty) is in talks to join director Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, which has already cast Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway. [Deadline]

• BBC America has renewed Orphan Black for a 10-episode second season. [via TVLine]

• File under rumour, for sure, but we’re only reporting this because we reckon it’s a great – if maybe a bit too radical for some traditionalists – idea: The Wrap is reporting that Chronicle star Michael B Jordan is in talks to reunite with director Josh Trank for the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, playing… Johnny Storm.

• Least interesting director’s Twitter pic of the week (we really must get around to Spurious Awards again) goes to Jurassic Park 4’s Colin Teverrow for a photo of… some trees. Apparently this was taken during location scouting for the film. Or it could just be Teverrow’s holiday snaps. So this is what the return to Isla Nublar (the location of the first film) will look like… just like it did in the first film. Shocker. Jurassic Park 4 is scheduled for release on 13 June 2014.
