The Walking Dead US Finale Watched By A Phenomenal 12.4 Million Viewers (NO SPOILERS)
AMC’s season three finale of The Walking Dead which premiered at 9 pm in the States on Sundaydrews the biggest ever audience for the show in its homeland – 12.4 million viewers.
The third series has, on average, been delivering larger audiences in the key ages 18-49 demographic than other ratings blockbusters like The Big Bang Theory, The Voice and Game Of Thrones. The show has also typically been adding three million extra viewers on catch-up services.
AMC’s president Charlie Collier, said, “Two words: Grateful. Dead. In just three seasons, The Walking Dead has become a pop-culture phenomenon, entertaining millions of passionate viewers and obliterating traditional lines between cable and broadcast television.”
