Thursday Link-A-Mania

• Fan-filmed footage of some Godzilla aftermath, from the set of the Gareth Edwards-directed reboot that’s shooting in and near Vancouver.

• Rufus Sewell (Dark City… do we need mention anything else) has been cast in director Brett Ratner’s Hercules (aka Hercules: The Thracian Wars). He’ll play Autolycus opposite Dwayne Johnson’s Hercules and Aksel Hennie’s Tydeus. [via Coming Soon]

• Brief new Iron Man 3 TV trailer:

• The latest Tweetpic from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb. This time it’s of actor Colm Feore as an unknown character in front of  logo that looks… foreboding.  Feore also played King Laufey in Thor, but we’re guessing this isn’t a crossover (insert whatever emoticon means tongue-in-cheek here).

• Following Colton Haynes (Roy Harper) and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), Manu Bennett (Slade Wilson/Deathstroke) has also now been promoted to series regular for the second season of Arrow. [via The Hollywood Reporter]

• Matt Smith has been making some very big promises about the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special: “What [Moffat's] written is just spellbinding… It’s one of the best [episodes] ever, ever, ever… There are parts of it in mad 3D. But what [Moffat's] done with the idea is really clever, it’s not just throwing things at the screen. [Moffat's] been wanting to write this script for ever and he’s really done it justice… There are elements to it which are different from normal episodes. When you combine all the elements that are different it’s not just an episode of Doctor Who, it’s something else, something bigger and more exciting.” [via The Daily Telegraph]
