Wednesday Link-A-Mania

Empire has posted the new poster for spooky new chiller Dark Skies (sadly nothing to to with the still much-mourned TV show). We can’t help thinking “They’re coming” makes it sound like the belated prequel to Poltergeist

Coming Soon has a new photo of that bloke who frowned a lot in Camelot, and frowned a lot in the Twilight films, and frowned a lot in the Prisoner remake (that’d be Jamie Campbell Bower, then) in his new role in The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones. And guess what? He’s frowning. In case you didn’t know, The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones (also starring Lily Collins, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Lena Headey, Kevin Durand, Aidan Turner, Jemima West, Godfrey Gao, CCH Pounder, Jared Harris and Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is based on the first book in Cassandra Clare’s book series. It’s due out in the UK on 23 August.

• DreamWorks Studios has hired Christopher Kyle (K-19: The Widowmaker, Alexander) to adapt Leigh Bardugo’s debut novel Shadow And Bone for the big screen. The first in the planned “Grisha Trilogy,”  the book is about a young woman must learn to control her newly discovered powers in order to save her country from the Shadow Fold, a creature-filled darkness that threatens to overrun the land. The next book in the series, Siege And Storm is due for release in June 2013 with the third in summer 2014. [via The Hollywood Reporter]

• Two new TV trailers for Oz, The Great And Powerful.

• This month on Arrow trailer…

• Albert Brooks will return to voice Marlin in Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo 2 (losing Nemo once might be considered a misfortune, but losing him twice looks like carelessness). [via Deadline]

Coming Soon has a couple of new pics from the forthcoming Star Trek game, set in the JJ Abrams-reboot Trek-verse.

TVLine has some pics from an upcoming episode of Community which partly takes place at an Inspector Spacetime convention…
