• New TV trailer for Oblivion, released in the UK on12 April.

• Former Misfits producer Matt Strevens has been named as the producer on the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary docu-drama An Adventure In Space And Time. The one-off drama will tell the story of the creation of Doctor Who… and will add even more confusion over the answer to the trivia question, which actor played the first Doctor? • Mackenzie Davis (The F Word), Nicholas Braun (Red State) and Josh Fadem (The Eric Andre Show) are in talks to star in Sony’s The Kitchen Sink, a horror comedy about a human, a vampire and a zombie as they band together to take on an alien invasion. [via Variety]

• New “green band” trailer for the Evil Dead remake (which means it’s the same as the last one but with the goriest bits edited out).

• The Guillermo del Toro-produced horror film Mama has topped the US box office over the weekend, which with takings of $28.1 million was one of the best openings ever for a horror film in January. Not bad for a film with a $15 million budget. [via Box Office Guru]

• Robert Rodrguez has revealed to MTV a little bit about Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character in Sin City: A Dame To Die For: “[He] plays a gambler, a very cocky gambler that comes in and tries to beat the biggest villain in Sin City at his own game. The story is called ‘The Long Bad Night’. He beats the wrong guy at a game… bad stuff happens to him.”

• Toby Jones has confirmed in a HeyUGuys interview that he’ll be returning as Arnim Zola in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
