The Dark Knight Rises’ Anne Hathaway tells Access Hollywood that she would love to play Catwoman again: “No one’s talked to me about it. I would love it. Actually, it’s so embarrassing – I was at a press Q & A thing the other night for a screening of The Dark Knight, and the moderator asked me, ‘So what was it like to say goodbye to the character?’ And I burst into tears, because I miss her. It just makes me cry. I miss her. I love Selena so much and I love her presence in my life and getting to… I’m crying again.” Aw, sweet. We’ll take a hanky next time we interview her. Or not mention Catwoman.

• According to Heat Vision, a sequel to Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim is already in the works: “Del Toro will supervise the writing of the sequel script, although at this stage it’s unclear whether he will direct.”

• The CW’s new series Cult – created by Farscape’s Rockne S O’Bannon – starts in the US on 19 February, so hopefully soon we’ll learn if it’s actually in SFX territory or just an action drama about a cult. It could go either way. [via Coming Soon]

• On a similar note, Sean Bean has replaced Brendan Fraser as the lead in TNT’s Legends, a show about an undercover operative who has a chameleon-like ability to turn himself into a different person for each assignment. Could be us, though the original book by Robert Littell is more of an espionage drama. Let’s see where they take it. [via Variety]

• A message from Simon Pegg to get you all excited:

• Staying with Trek, Benedect Cumberbatch told reporters at a Japanese press conference for Into Darkness that his character (whoever that may be) is not clearly good or evil: “He is very ruthless…He is not a clearly good or evil character. He is a villain but the actions he takes has intent and reason. He is a complicated character not to be judged by white-or-black, or good-or-evil. But this is the appeal of JJ’s works and I felt challenge as an actor.” So, Gary Mitchell or not Gary Mitchell?

• English actor Mark Killeen (airport cop in The Dark Knight Rises, parachute instructor in Miranda German Soldier in Doctor Who “Let’s Kill Hitler”) has been cast in the role of Mero, the Titan’s Bastard, for season three of Game Of Thrones. Looking at that CV this could be his big break (although he is also Greek Commander in the upcoming 300 sequel). Mero is captain of a sellsword company called the Second Sons. In the books Daenerys meets the captain during her travels in Essos. [via Winter Is Coming]

• Also thanks to Winter Is Coming for alerting us to this video from HBO which towards the end has a very brief sneak peek at Game Of Thrones season three (around 1 minute 43 seconds). There’s also a mention of True Blood season six, but the shots are so generic (and we’re not even sure it’s started filming yet) they may well not be from season six, though we’re prepared to bow to superior knowledge.
