Hugh Jackman In Talks For X-Men: Days Of Future Past

This is the news we’ve all been expecting ever since Bryan Singer tweeted “more to come” at the end of his announcement about Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen signing on for X-Men: Days Of Future Past  – according to The Hollywood Reporter Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) is in negotiations to appear too.

The film will be mixing the casts of X-Men: First Class and the original X-Men trilogy in a time travel tale based on a famous story arc from the X-Men comics. It’s not clear yet whether “returning” actors like Stewart, McKellen and Jackman would have full roles or cameos. The original story deals with an alternate future held in the grasp of mutant hunting giant robots called Sentinels, so either approach is possible.

As well as the original trilogy actors mentioned, James McAvoy (young Professor X), Michael Fassbender (young Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Nicholas Hoult (the Beast) from X-Men: First Class have also been confirmed for Days Of Future Past.
