Thor: The Dark World Has A Game Of Thrones Feel, Says Chris Hemsworth
Thor star Chris Hemsworth has told MTV that the Marvel sequel Thor: The Dark World will have a different feel to its predecessor, a feel that reflects the fact that director Alan Taylor helped define the visual style of Game Of Thrones.
“The look of the film is a lot bigger than what we did even previously,” says Hemsworth. “The first one worked and people loved it, but this is with a different director and just has a totally different feel. There’s a definite Game Of Thrones vibe thanks to Alan.”
As for the story, he adds, “For Thor and Jane, there are some unanswered questions now, since obviously he didn’t stop in and catch up with her in Avengers. Thor might have some explaining to do in this one… There’s some fun to be had with that. And with Loki, we get down to the major bones of our conflict with everything that’s come from Thor to Avengers to now.”
He also gives a brief update on the Steven Spielberg directed Robopocalypse in which he also stars: “No one does sci-fi better than him. It was a no-brainer. And then I read the script and was even more excited if that’s possible.”
