The Hobbit: How The New Zealanders Have Got It Licked

New Zealand has issued a new set of stamps commemorating Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy featuring Radagast The Brown (Sylvester McCoy), Elrond (Hugo Weaving) and Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage). Not sure why we get Sylvester twice. Maybe it’s another subliminal attempt to link Doctor Who with New Zealand and Peter Jackson, in the hope the BBC might let him direct an episode?
