Doctor Who “A Town Called Mercy” Overnight Ratings

The return of Strictly Come Dancing proved a boon for Doctor Who “A Town Called Mercy” which had had an overnight viewing figure of 6.6 million, the highest so far for the season, beating the 6.38 million for “Asylum” and 5.5 million for “Dinosaurs”. Hell of a result.

Doctor Who was the third most watched show of the evening after The X-Factor and Strictly.

And guess what? Doctor Who is number one on iPlayer.
