• Michael Keaton has replaced Hugh Laurie as Raymond Sellars, the evil and ultra-rich CEO of Omnicorp, in director Jose Padilha’s RoboCop remake. [via Coming Soon]

• Jorge Garcia (Lost’s Hurley) will be making a guest appearance in season two of Once Upon A Time playing a giant. [via TVLine]

Castle has signed up Star Trek’s Jonathan Frakes to direct an episode set in a science fiction convention (which, knowing that show, will be an absolute geek-fest). [via TVLine]

• David Morrissey has told Entertainment Weekly that his role as The Governor in The Walking Dead will be more complex than the character as portrayed in the original comics. “He’s very fully-formed when you meet him in the comic books, and he’s not in this yet,” Morrissey explains. “We… meet the Governor earlier in his journey… The things that make him the way he is happen to him on screen. We see them happening.”

• New spooky ABC drama 666 Park Avenue (watch the trailer here) – which stars Terry O’Quinn – has signed up actress Tessa Thompson to play Laurel Harris, a media consultant with an inside track on New York politics. [via Deadline]

• Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s very public split is causing marketing and PR headaches when it comes to promoting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, reckons the New York Post. “The studio’s holding out to see if they get back together, but I don’t think anyone is banking on that happening,” a source tells the publication. “At this point, the press strategy would have been mapped out. It’s usually very organised, but at this time it’s undecided.”
