NBC Developing New Supervillain TV Show Hench

NBC is developing a new TV show called Hench, about a man who temps for supervillains, reports Deadline.

The show is based on a 2004 indie graphic novel, also called Hench, written by Adam Beechen, who went on to write for DC (including Countdown To Adventure and Batgirl).

The show is being developed by Peter Berg (director of Battleship and Hancock) and Sarah Aubrey’s Film 44 and Universal TV. The script is being written by Alexandra Cunningham (Desperate Housewives, the US version of Prime Suspect).
