Chronicle Director For Fantastic Four Movie

Fox has confirmed that Chronicle director Josh Trank is now officially attached to the Fantastic Four movie reboot, reports Deadline.

The film, which will feature an all-new cast, will swing into production right after the X-Men: First Class sequel and The Wolverine have wrapped. Deadline reckons that Fox expects Fantastic Four to be the next film that Trank directs, so it’s unclear where that leaves his big screen games adaptation Shadow Of The Colossus.

Tim Story directed two previous Fantastic Four movies – Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer (2007) – starring Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, a hopelessly miscast Jessica Alba as Sue Storm and an even more hopelessly miscast Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom.
