Ted: Motion Capture Video Featurette

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane not only wrote and directed Ted – the film about a man (Mark Wahlberg) who has lived his whole life alongside a lazy teddy bear he wished to life as a boy – but he also went all Andy Serkis for the film as well, providing the voice and motion capture performance for the eponymous character as well.

Universal has released some footage of MacFarlane giving his performance.

The greatest miracle with this film may not have anything to do with the special effects, though. It could be that MacFarlane gets a likeable performance out of Mark Wahlberg.

Ted is released in the UK on 1 August.
