Lost Director And World War Z Creator Team-Up

Jack Bender, the director behind more episodes of Lost than any other (including the infamous finale), and World War Z author Max Brooks have teamed up for a mysterious new movie called Devolution for Legendary Pictures, reports Heat Vision.

The film is a thriller based on an original idea (in Hollywood? Heaven forbid) by Max Brooks. David Leslie Johnson (Orphan, The Walking Dead) is writing the script.

At the moment plot details are being kept under wraps, so it may not even be in SFX territory. But with a name like Devolution, and Max Brooks involved, we think it’s a pretty sure bet. Unless it’s about Scotland.

Aside from an astonishingly large list of TV credits (besides Lost, there’s Northern Exposure, Profiler, Ally McBeal, Joan Of Arcadia, Carnivale and The Sopranos among many others) Bender also directed Child’s Play 3, but let’s not hold that against him.
