TV Guide has posted the first image of David Morrissey (“The Next Doctor”, Blackpool, South Riding) as nasty bit of work the Governor, in season three of The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman tells TV Guide, “Seeing The Walking Dead come to life on AMC has been a real thrill for me, obviously, and moving into season three I’m even more excited than ever because now I feel like we’re really getting to ‘the good stuff. Having The Governor in the mix is going to fundamentally change the show in all kinds of awesome and exiting ways. And David Morrissey totally rocks!”
The Walking Dead season three, which also sees fan favourite character Michonne added to the mix, will air in the UK on FX this autumn.
