Release Dates For X-Men First Class 2, Robopocalypse, Independence Day 3D

Yes, we said Independence Day 3D. That’ll make it ID43D. Which must be the password you need to hack into alien computers…

20th Century Fox has just announced a bunch of release dates for some a number of sci-fi and fantasy movies, including the X-Men: First Class sequel and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, Steven Spielberg’s Robopocalypse, as well as that 3D re-release of Independence Day.

Roland Emmerich, in conjunction with Stereo 3D, which did the work on Titanic 3D, will produce a 3D version of the the director’s infamous alien invasion movie. ID43D will be released worldwide on 3 July 2013.

Fox, together with Disney and Dreamworks, has shifted the release of Steven Spielberg’s epic Robopocalypse to 25 April 2014. It was originally scheduled for the release date ID43D now occupies. Disney is distributing it in North America; Fox in the rest of the world.

Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes will be released on 23 May 2014.

The X-Men: First Class sequel, once again directed by Matthew Vaughn, will be released on 18 July 2014.
