Just finished The Night Eternal, book 3 of Guillermo Del Toro's The Strain trilogy.

Not as exciting as the other 2 books but a very good read and a very satisfying ending.

Now onto Kevin Hearne's Hounded, book 1 of the Iron Druid chronicles.

Halfway through Casino Infernale, part of the supernatural James Bond series by Simon R Green. As much fun as usual

Just finished Gods of Aquarius by Brad Steiger which featured lots of interviews with people who are channelling aliens in the mid 70s, and then unexpectedly during an interview about the psychic children who were turning up across the world at the time it turns out that Gene Roddenberry was visiting at the time so you get his opinions about psychic powers, the nature of reality and kudos.

Came up with the worlds greatest Signature, one that would make women swoon and men wish to be my friend, one that would be so devastatingly brilliant that it would end the concept of signatures forever.

And then I woke up and wrote this instead.

I have just discovered The Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan, I don't think they are exactly new there seems to be at least 10 or so books and I am about halfway through book one

It is a sort of Lord of the Rings type adventure some youngs boys and many other characters have to go on a journey becuase of evil power type thing. it's very good I would recommend it if you haven't read it

Top 5 comments from our panel:
1. Quit now while you still have your sanity
2. Tolkien spent decades writing LOTR, he's in heaven now explaining to . Robert Jordan about spending too much time on one thing.
3. Be warned after reading every book in the series you may wish to have never learned to read.
4. Please God take the large books away.
5. The hardback versions can be claimed as weightlifting equipment for tax purposes.

Gridlinked - Neal Asher. I keep trying to read this but I'm finding it difficult so instead I read

Gun Machine - Warren Ellis instead and at a considerably faster pace.

The Man Who fell To Earth-Walter Tevis. I'd been watching a Bowie documentary and the film clip popped up so I had a look for the book not realising it was the same author of 'Mockingbird'. Written in 1963 but not dated at all.
