Charlize Theron to Star in Rupert “Planet Of The Apes” Wyatt’s Agent 13

Prometheus and Snow White And The Huntsman star Charlize Theron is now attached to a sci-fi thriller called Agent 13, to be directed by Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes helmer Rupert Wyatt, reports Variety.

Little is known about the plot at the moment, but after Wyatt surprised everybody by turning the Apes remake into the surprise hit of 2011, you’ve got to be a little excited by his next project. The script, by newcomer TS Nowlin, has apparently caused quiz a buzz in Hollywood (possibly because of the novelty of a sci-fi film that isn’t based on a comic).

The project isn’t currently based at any major studio, but that’s a situation that should change imminently.
