James Cameron’s Terminator Advice To Arnie

James Cameron has revealed that to MTV that the rumours he met up with Arnold Schwarzenegger to discuss the next Terminator film are true, but confirmed that he will have no involvement in the film.

Instead, he simply told the actor that any future Terminator film should focus on the T-800, the character Arnie plays.

“I was trying to be as encouraging as possible,” revealed Cameron. “Frankly, at that time, I thought it needed to be more about him. I told him he should not do it until it’s focused on his character or he shouldn’t do it. I think there are some great stories that can be told about that character that haven’t even been thought of yet.”

Presumably one of those stories being why a cyborg suddenly looks 40 years older…
