Friday The 13th and Freddy Vs Jason screenwriters Damian Shannon and Mark Swift have set up a new, untitled horror movie at Paramount Pictures which they plan to write and direct. The storyline is being kept under wraps, but it is known to contain a high school setting. [via Heat Vision]

• Warner Bros has moved the release date of Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim from 10 May 2013 to 12 July 2013. The company has also set a release date for the 300 sequel, currently being called Battle Of Artemisia but likely to have a name change: 2 August 2013. [via Coming Soon]

• Sony has announced that the theme tune to Men In Black 3 will be “Back in Time”, performed by Pitbull. It apparently samples 1950s hit “Love Is Strange”. “It’s an incredible honour to be a part of such an amazing franchise as Men In Black and I have so much respect for Will Smith, especially with our similar musical backgrounds,” says Pitbull. “Wanting to keep the music fun yet modern, we used the slogan of the movie and flipped it back into the song that ‘in order to understand the future, you have to go back in time.’” [via Coming Soon]
