Jim Burns Attending SFX Weekender 3

The esteemed sci-fi artist will be joining us in February

Three time Hugo award winner and hugely popular SF artist Jim Burns will be joining in the fun at the SFX Weekender 3 this February.

Jim Burns has won the Hugo for best professional artist three times and also been awarded 12 BSFA awards.

Massively prolific and well respected by his peers and fans alike, Burns – who in recent years has illustrated the covers for fellow attendee Peter F Hamilton’s Void series – will be heading down to Prestatyn where as well as being able to meet him you’ll be able to see (and buy) some of his canvas prints.

The upcoming SFX Weekender will be taking place a Pontin’s Prestatyn Sands on the 3 to 5 February 2012. The galaxy’s greatest multi-media sci-fi event, guests can expect a packed line-up of star guest, interviews, Q and A sessions, workshops, videogaming, book readings and DJs, authors, quizzes, film and TV previews, and a packed programme of entertainment tailored to provide the ultimate science fiction and fantasy experience.
