Seven Hides For Seven Brothers

Director of the most lucrative Norwegian film ever at the box office (we can’t think of one other…) will make sci-fi thriller as his first English language film

Basically, if you’re a Norwegian director and you want your film to make a splash on the international stage, it seems you need to stick “hunter” in the title. Troll Hunter is an absolute gem that has already gained a cult following, while director Morten Tyldum’s crime thriller Headhunters recently became the most successful Norwegian film ever at the international box office.

Headhunters caused enough buzz that Hollywood has offered Tyldum his chance to tackle his first English language film, and it just happens to be sci-fi.

What Happened To Monday? – based on an original script (which is an event worthy of a news story in itself) by Max Botkin – is about identical septuplet brothers who struggle to stay hidden in an overpopulated world where a one-child policy dictates that siblings are against the law, reports Deadline. (We assume they may all be named after days of the week, if the title is anything to go by.) It will be produced by Raffaella De Laurentiis via Raffaella Productions.
