Game Of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage Wins Telefantasy’s Only Emmy This Year
But boy, did he deserve it… even with the iffy accent
Peter Dinklage, Tyrion Lannister in Game Of Thrones, won the Best Supporting Actor category at the Emmy Awards last night in Hollywood.
He beat John Slattery as Roger Sterling in Mad Men, Andre Braugher as Owen in Men Of A Certain Age, Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder in Justified, Josh Charles as Will Gardner in The Good Wife and Alan Cumming as Eli Gold in The Good Wife.
It was the only award for a science fiction or fantasy series last night. Game Of Thrones lost out to Mad Men for Best Drama Series, but it did win an award for its opening title sequence the previous week in the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
