Get Ready To Go Offworld
British director Julian Gilbey (A Lonely Place to Die) is set to make his Hollywood debut with a “pedal-to-the-metal safari movie set on an alien planet”
Empire reports that British director Julian Gilbey (A Lonely Place to Die) is set to call the shots on his Hollywood debut, a sci-fi action flick called Offworld.
He has been signed by producer Lloyd Levin (Watchmen, Hellboy, Event Horizon) for a project which he describes as a “a kind of intergalactic Naked Prey… a pedal-to-the-metal safari movie set on an alien planet… There’s lots of nasty creatures – some even on the good guys’ side.”
The script has been written by David Leslie Johnson, whose CV includes Orphan, Red Riding Hood and Clash Of The Titans 2 (though not the first one, in case that was worrying you.)
