Doctor Who “Curse Of The Black Spot” Final Consolidated Ratings

Another hefty time shift thanks to people who recorded the show to watch later

The final consolidated ratings for Doctor Who’s third episode of the series, “The Curse Of The Black Spot”, have been revealed as 7.85 million. This includes people who recorded the episode and watched it within the first week and is an mighty increase of 1.64 million on the overnight figures. The audience share was an impressive 35.5% share. This places the show just outside the Top 10 TV shows for that week. This figure doesn’t even include the near million who watched on iPlayer over that week. So, a total reach of nearly nine million.

Time again to reiterate, then – overnight ratings are indicative of nothing much at all these days.

But let’s get the word out about how good “The Doctor’s Wife” was, and get that iPlayer figure back up again. And we can tell you now, next week’s “The Rebel Flesh” is a cracker too, so make sure you watch/record/iPlayer it.
