While Thor has yet to open in the US, it’s already proving an epic hit elsewhere. It made $83 million across 56 countries this past weekend, making it the biggest international opening of the year. It debuted in first place in the UK, Ireland, France, South Korea, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines and other markets. Adding in the movie’s box office from Australia – where it opened a week earlier – Thor has already made $93 million.

Is This Amazing Spider-Man’s Lizard?
A site called PinkIsTheNewBlog has posted some images of what it speculates is actor Rhys Ifans in disguise on the set of Amazing Spider-Man, but showing hints through his eyeholes of make-up that could be him transforming into Lizard form (apparently, the “full” Lizard will be CG). What do you reckon?

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Won’t Be Back For GI Joe Sequel
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, now clearly on Christopher Nolan’s Christmas card list (he’s going from Inception to The Dark Knight Rises) has told Collider that he will not be appearing as the Cobra Commander in the sequel to GI Joe.

More On Those Possible Avengers Spin-Offs
Marvel Movie boss Kevin Feige has been speaking some more to The Playlist about possible further Avengers spin-off movies: “There’s no definitive plans, but we have started talking and talking with Scarlett about what a Widow movie could be. Internally we’ve also started thinking what a Hawkeye movie could be, how we could continue to explore the organisation SHIELD, which has a pretty big part in Thor, smaller parts in the two ‘Iron Man’ films and has a giant part in The Avengers. What would a stand-alone SHIELD be like? It all goes back to the comics. Sometimes the answer is—when looking at a certain run of issues— ‘no way’ and sometimes the answer is ‘maybe, let’s continue to explore it’ and certainly with Hawkeye and Black Widow those are two that we’re exploring.”

Chris Hemsworth Could Become A Hunter
According to Deadline, Thor star Chris Hemsworth is the frontrunner to star in the titular role in Snow White And The Huntsman (as the huntsman, in case you were wondering…). The film already stars Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen and Kristen Stewart as Snow White.
