Kate Beckinsale Offered Total Recall Role
Hmmm, maybe we should have seen this one coming. According to Deadline, Kate (Underworld) Beckinsale is the front runner to play Lori (lead character Dennis Quaid’s wife – the Sharon Stone role in the original film) in director Len Wiseman’s remake of Total Recall. In case you need reminding, Wiseman is Beckinsale’s hubby (they met while making Underworld).

First Pic Of Jessica Alba In Spy Kids 4

According to the official synopsis: “On the surface, Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) has it all… married to a famous spy hunting television reporter, a new baby and intelligent twin step kids. But in reality, trying to mother Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook), who clearly don’t want her around, is her toughest challenge yet. Also, her husband, Wilbur (Joel McHale), wouldn’t know a spy if he lived with one which is exactly the case – Marissa’s a retired secret agent.”

Change-Up Trailer – NSFW (although only just…)
From the creators who brought you The Wedding Crashers and The Hangover – a body swap movie! You can kinda guess where’s this is going, and it’s not exactly Freaky Friday.

Old Spice Guy Desperate For Luke Cage Role
Isaiah Mustafa, better known as Old Spice Guy, would prefer to be even better known as Luke Cage: Power Man. He tells Superhero Hype that he’s been actively pitching himself for the role to Marvel: “I’ve already had a meeting with Marvel. I talked to them and I told them that I was a gracious reader of their comics and that I wanted to be Luke Cage. So we’ll see where they take it.” But is Marvel actually considering a Power Man film? “They have something in mind, I think, and I definitely want them to see that I’m extremely passionate about it. I’m extremely passionate about being that character. I will do anything to get that role. It strikes me. It’s very personal to me. I hold onto it. It’s something that I desire more than just about anything that I can think of right now, as far as work goes.”

Natalie Portman Denies She’s In The Avengers
Despite what Chris Hemsworth said in an interview earlier this week, Natalie Portman denies to Today Online that she’ll be appearing in The Avengers: “I’m not in The Avengers,” she says, “but I’m signed up for the next two Thor sequels if they are made. I think these inter-related Marvel movies are great fun. The Avengers will be like Ocean’s Eleven with the superhero all-stars!”
