Kevin Smith causes sh*tstorm with an incontinent Dark Knight

It was the final taboo, and it took Clerks director and moonlighting comic book writer Kevin Smith to tackle it. Batman – in official DC continuity, mind – has wet his pants.

Potty humour is a major part of Smith’s movie work, but some fans have been angered by his attempts to bring bodily fluids gags to Batman. In Batman: The Widening Gyre issue six, which went on sale last week, he dared to take the piss (see what we did there?) out of Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One. Some fans on the internet are calling it the worst comic ever written! Which just makes us want to read it even more.
