Will Nathan Fillion be Joss Whedon’s Ant-Man?

Conflicting rumours from Comic-Con – did Joss name Fillion as his Ant-Man? Or was he joking? Or did this even happen?

Rich Johnston over at Bleedingcool.com says he sneaked into a panel at Comic-Con where Joss Whedon announced Nathan Fillion will be Ant-Man in his Avengers movie. The panel was packed and your humble SFX scribes were occupied meeting Jonathan Ross, the cast of The Walking Dead, the folks making The Force Unleashed II and the producers of Dragon Age II.
